Students in TERMINALE participate in P.A.M.U.N.

The Paris Model United Nations conference takes place in early December. This 3-day conference is usually held in the UNESCO buildings.

PAMUN is the final opportunity the Section provides to enjoy the MUN experience, apart from the fast-growing FIMUN conference.  It welcomes 900 delegates each year for two-and-a-half days of high-level debating.

Like all previous MUN conferences, PAMUN requires its participants to invest time and hard work. However, the students who obtain one of the few places we are given must also be able to adapt to a completely different style of building resolutions, which focuses on debating and voting on individual clauses, and building a resolution collectively as debates progress. It is an interesting challenge which often gives more opportunities to weigh in with intelligent points and arguments.

The Section will usually be given one delegation, while also offering extra places on various other delegations. This means that competition for places will be even higher. Those who earn their places, however, will not be disappointed.
