The Hague

Students in PREMIERE participate in T.H.I.M.U.N.

The MUN conference at The Hague is arguably the height of MUN experience on offer. Held in January, at the World Forum Convention Centre in The Hague, as well as other official diplomatic buildings, THIMUN is also the largest MUN conference in the world, with an attendance of around 4,500 delegates each year. Its prestige means that students from the world over participate, and debate is productive and sophisticated.

There are several differences in MUN protocol, mainly the organisation of the committees. This, added to the excellent facilities on offer, offers delegates an even closer experience of what a real UN conference is like.

For those interested in law, or simply interested, the International Court of Justice is right next to the World Forum, and open for people to watch high-profile trials.

Due to high demand, the Section is only given space for two delegations, meaning the places are only about half those available for Dublin. However, those who get a place are guaranteed a great time and fantastic experiences for later life.
