CM2 Art Workshop

  Every Wednesday, after their Anglophone Section class, twenty-four CM2s take part in an exciting art workshop led by Ms Francesca Booth, a UK-trained artist who currently teaches art to students ranging from 3 to 18 years of age. The aim is to give children the opportunity to express their creativity and to explore the link between culture and nature in an imaginative and fun way. The current theme: MASKS!

Commemoration ceremony

The Proviseur of the Lycée François 1er, Mr Carton and the director of the Anglophone Section, Mr Corrigan,  organised a commemoration ceremony in the courtyard of the school on the occasion of the state funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II. It was attended by pupils and teachers from the three schools on the campus as well as dignitaries from the town council. Sports Day in any weather!

Despite unpredictable weather, Sports Day 2022 went ahead on Saturday 10th September. More than 50 families signed up for the picnic followed by a host of races ranging from relay to three-legged race, egg and spoon to tug-of-war. Whether first of last, all the students went home with a brand new Anglophone Section T-shirt, a medal and a tummy full of cake. A coffee morning in gorgeous weather

More than 50 people attended this year's coffee morning! Thanks to Rayanne D. generously opening her beautiful garden to Section parents, we managed to kick the academic year off with an opportunity for new parents to meet current parents and for all to reinforce the links that tie us together. A big thank you to the Contact Parents for their help and organisation.

Bac Results, Graduation Ball and Ceremony

The year ended on a high note for our Terminale students. Not only did they maintain the Section’s 100% pass rate in the baccalaureate, but three students also achieved 18/20 overall! More than half of our students achieved a mention bien this year. Congratulations! Once again, the beautiful Château de Courances served as a backdrop for the Terminales from both Sections decked out in formal evening dress for the traditional Graduation Ball.
