The Quatrièmes in Paris
Our quatrièmes were thrilled to enjoy a day out in Paris on 2nd July. This excursion marked the end of the school year and aimed to recapture some of the experiences lost to COVID as other trips were cancelled. After an hour ride on a bateau-mouche starting from “le Pont Neuf” going up the Seine to the Eiffel tower and a lunch in a typical Parisian brasserie, students indulged in ice-cream in the Luxembourg garden. A big thank you to all the parent volunteers who made this trip possible!

Fête Inter: Love Hearts for All!
The Anglophone Section booth was swamped with eager Francophone, Germanophone and of course Anglophone students thrilled at the prospect of winning sweets in exchange for their knowledge. The aim of the game was to find the names of eight famous historical, popular, political and litterary figures and then complete a sheet with the answers. Treats were flying from the box!

Section student becomes Champion de France
Thundering applause for Guillaume Watson! This Section student in troisième has accomplished the feat of winning the national title and the gold medal at the French Fencing Championships M15 2022 in Macon. He and his teammates also won the first place in the team category. Guillaume, who specializes in the foil, has been trained by the 2000 Sydney Olympic champion, Patrice Lhotellier at the Cercle d'Escrime Melun Val de Seine. Congratulations, Guillaume!
