New Board Members

The Annual General Meeting of the Association was held on Tuesday 23rd November. Reports from the Director of the Section, the Treasurer and the President were heard and the past year's accounts were approved. Happy Halloween!

One of the best Halloween parties ever took place today in the Primary school. Very well organised and attended, students loved the different stands: bean toss, colouring in, photo booth, scary stories, ring toss etc. The organising committee created many scary corners around the playground to the delight of dressed up students. It was the perfect start to a welcome Autumn break.

Royal Russell MUN, Croydon UK

Six of the Anglophone Section Terminale students are currently attending the Royal Russell MUN conference in Croydon, near London. It is the first time that students from our school participate in this four-day conference.

New friends, fun activities, teachers from a different angle, great weather, BUTHIERS!

A total of 66 Collégiens turned up for the Buthiers adventure camp, 20 minutes from Fontainebleau. The packed coach spilled out its excited load of children near the dorms and soon the screeching of zip wires, whooshing of fun bikes and happy cheers split the foggy morning. By lunchtime students satisfied their ravenous appetites by wolfing down delicious chicken and an endless supply of spaghetti. The day merged into a glorious, sunny one, just in time for more action! The Big BBQ

The Anglophone Section's first ever family barbecue took place on Saturday on the farm of Claudine and Nicolas G. in Auvernaux. More than three hundred happy parents and excited children convened in the lovely setting of an authentic farm yard to enjoy one another's company and to devour the delicious mountain of chicken and sausages, baked potatoes, salads, bread and cheeses.
