The year ended on a high note for our Terminale students. Not only did they maintain the Section’s 100% pass rate in the baccalaureate, but three students also achieved 18/20 overall! More than half of our students achieved a mention bien this year. Congratulations!
Once again, the beautiful Château de Courances served as a backdrop for the Terminales from both Sections decked out in formal evening dress for the traditional Graduation Ball. Parents’ caring preparation and serving of a delicious three-course meal in the tastefully decorated tea room near the Japanese garden served as a prelude to energetic dancing that lasted all night.
More champagne glasses clinked a few days later after Mr Carton, the Proviseur, Mr Corrigan, director of the Anglophone Section and Mrs Möhl, director of the Germanophone Section addressed the students at the Graduation Ceremony. It was also the opportunity to thank Mr Bel, retiring Global Executive Director of INSEAD, for his support over the years and to wish him well. Students received a certificate to mark their successful completion of the Anglophone Section programme. They were also presented with a rose and a t-shirt to collect messages and signatures from their teachers and classmates before stepping through the lycée gates into their future and beyond.
