Between November 8th and November 11th 24 Terminale students visited Milan in order to attend a Model United Nations conference. They represented Sweden, South Africa and Russia and debated many different issues including the Mexican drug war, the protests in Iran, artificial intelligence, the conflict in the South China Sea and the weaponisation of pathogens. There were students from the UK, Germany, Czechia, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, the UAE, and Taiwan at the conference and our students debated very well, managed to negotiate and work towards a consensus.
Three students from the Anglophone Section won a special mention at the closing ceremony. Congratulations to Elena M, Julie B and Eva G!
