At its Annual Meeting, the Association announced the recipients of its first Red Leaf Awards. The award recognise the long-term commitment and involvement of parents in the Association’s activities. The Red Leaf Award, reflecting the Section’s logo and the idea of the strength and permanence of the oak tree, is awarded annually to up to three parents whose last child is completing his/her studies in the Section and have made a consistent and outstanding formal or informal contribution to the life of the community. This year, the Board has awarded the Red Leaf to Vanessa Cordier and Leigh Montillot from the 2021-22 graduating year (catching up from the prior year) and David Champion from the 2022-23 class. Without the support of parents such as these, the Section would be unable to offer the range of activities that enhance our children’s education.
